About Sera

Where darkness meets desire

The Author

I write dark mafia romance because I'm fascinated by the brutal honesty of power. Not the sanitized version, not the fantasy—the real kind. The kind where protection and possession are the same word, where loyalty is tested in blood, and where love doesn't fix broken men, it just makes them more dangerous.

The Sovereignty Universe was born from a question: What happens when ruthless men meet women who refuse to be victims? Not in the hero-saves-the-day sense, but in the messy, complicated reality where survival requires compromise, power shifts without warning, and sometimes the only way forward is through.

I don't write redemption arcs. I write collision courses. My characters don't apologize for who they are—they own it. The violence is real. The stakes are lethal. The passion is raw. And nobody escapes unscathed.

What I Believe About Romance

Power dynamics matter. I'm interested in the spaces where consent gets complicated, where "I want you" and "I own you" coexist, where surrender is both defeat and victory.

Morality is negotiable. My heroes aren't good men doing bad things. They're dangerous men operating by their own codes, and sometimes those codes collide with ours. That tension is the story.

Violence has consequences. When someone gets hurt in my books, it matters. Pain isn't wallpaper—it shapes characters, forces choices, leaves scars.

Happy endings are earned. Not given. Not guaranteed. My characters fight for every inch of their future, and sometimes the best they get is survival and each other.

The Sovereignty Universe

Northern New Jersey. Five Italian mafia families. An empire built on blood, loyalty, and secrets that could destroy them all.

Each book in The Sovereignty Universe focuses on a different couple, but the families' stories are deeply intertwined. Decisions made in one book ripple through the next. Alliances shift. Enemies become allies. Lovers become liabilities.

This is a world where omertà isn't just a code—it's survival. Where family means everything and nothing. Where the line between protector and predator disappears in the dark.

Welcome to The Sovereignty Universe. No one leaves unchanged.
